i've always felt it was important to do both, especially the latter. if a trump presidency leads to a focus on local and state elections by left leaning people then it will be a blessing. the left has been far too lazy unlike the right who saw every election starting with school board as important and only showing up to vote in presidential election years.

From what I'm seeing because of the trump effect it seems reverse, democrats are worried about loosing their seats in red states. Sessions is an open racist, or open has can but I think the status quo of blacks being killed and unarmed will continue. For those saying "hey we as blacks had it bad under obama and the black AG, what can sessions and trump reign do to me that hasn't been done?".
