They've been teasing him being a main eventer since 17.You know you're fighting reality if you trying to somehow pretend Jeff wasn't going to end up working with Roman

Jeff left WWE at the height of his fukking career in 2009 to go to the rival company. Nuff said
You think WWE needs foreshadowing to throw someone at Roman?Aside from being in a 6 man tag with Drew and Xavier Woods against Roman and The Usos what exactly was foreshadowing a Jeff program with Roman?
Because on the actual televised shows Xavier was more involved with The Bloodline than Jeff who hadn't had any interaction with them on Smackdown at all.
He was tagging with Drew against Corbin and Madcap Moss for the majority of his last two months in WWE.
The closest he got to Roman was being eliminated by Sami Zayn in that Black Friday #1 Contender Battle Royal. If ever there was going to be a program between Jeff and Roman that was the time to do it because all Sami winning did was end up being some short term comedy shyt.
So the "Jeff threw away a main event program with Roman Reigns" stuff isn't based in anything that we were seeing from WWE programming.
Which makes all this talk about how Jeff was up next and blew it by leaving come off as kinda dumb. You think WWE needs foreshadowing to throw someone at Roman?
They usually tend to do things out of the blue so it's very possible.
I think there even was a thread on here discussing who would roman's next feud where Jeff's name was brought up a lot because there weren't very many other options.I feel like part of the thought process on this whole Jeff/Roman thing is who the fukk else is left that's a credible opponent after Brock?
It's WWE they tossed Cesaro in a "feud" with Roman for a one time thing. Having Hardy face him was not out of the question.Which makes all this talk about how Jeff was up next and blew it by leaving come off as kinda dumb.

A month hadn't even passed when he got arrested, it was like two weeks later. From what I remember, they were already investigating Jeff prior to him leaving. Imagine if he got arrested while he was Champion and still feuding with PunkTrue... He planned on leaving after winning the world title. I wonder if, if he did stay, he wouldn't get caught up with the drugs again and get busted a month after leaving
