I don't get why people are upset with him telling the true story.

Majority of rap fans who purchase albums are white kids. Especially the type of drug dealer content themed records he was releasing back then.

So how was he shytting on his fanbase? He was shytting on the people who went to an eating establishment and acted like clowns. The type of clientele that nobody wants.

In that metro area, certain that he had upscale Black people dining there before the announcement. Post announcement just bought in a stream of immature people

Exactly. Funny how people basically assumed black people dont eat in high end restaurants,in ATL of all places:mjpls:

He specefically said people had it looking like Freaknik in there. Meaning people who Im sure just came to support, treated the restauraunt like a Jeezy show because he was the owner. And that scared away the high end customers.

His fans tried to support though, didnt feel like he was shytting on them. Just learned not to cross promote.:mjlol:

Im sure it didnt turn to freaknik over night. Those high end people saw a few "ghetto" groups in attendance and never came back. Thats why white establishments try not to even let us in. If people with money see people they percieve as poor in the same place. That place is no longer highened. Also why they try to do racist shyt to make us boycott their highend brands,or stores.

Can u honestly blame em tho?

Average Jeezy fan will never tour, become a famous, have neighbors in gated communitys so how do you expect them to grow and share his feelings?

Hence why they want to pull him to their level.

But they made him rich! He shouldnt forget it. He aint rappin about the gated communitys now is he?
He made himself rich by putting out great music and hustling his as off.

For the record, you believe people shouldn't get an opportunity to change?
i believe in entertainment, your fans have to catch up to you.

Those fans acted the way they did because they know him from Trap or Die, not from diversifying his portfolio.

JEEZY SPENT YRS SELLING DRUGS
TO THE BLACK COMMUNITY.

NOW HE WANNA SELL STEAKS
TO THE WHITE COMMUNITY.

If it was a steakhouse in Buckhead, as white as that part of atlanta is, it's still Atlanta, and I'm sure a LOT of black patrons frequented there. In this case it sounds more of an expectation thing...going to a steakhouse vs people going to expect some young Jeezy party restaurant going by what he said. There was inherently less respect when it was found out he owned it. How's that right?

I can see it both ways. He came up off a certain crowd and image, and I hate when people reject that. But at the same time, it's a restaurant not a club. A high-end restaurant at that.

Comment here is too short to determine if he is shytting on folks or just saying you should have a certain decorum at his establishment.
