Kind of embarrassing how rappers view their consumers. Isn't this what and who you rapped about lol

I doubt if Common or Cole or some shyt shouted out their steakhouse it would look like freaknik :mjpls:

They rap about dysfunction and pedal it to the youth
And then send their kids to private school and say I’m not a role model

Above the fray.
I don't get why people are upset with him telling the true story.

Majority of rap fans who purchase albums are white kids. Especially the type of drug dealer content themed records he was releasing back then.

So how was he shytting on his fanbase? He was shytting on the people who went to an eating establishment and acted like clowns. The type of clientele that nobody wants.

In that metro area, certain that he had upscale Black people dining there before the announcement. Post announcement just bought in a stream of immature people

People don’t respect black business

Which people? :mjpls:

And it sounds like he needed to establish a strict dress code to keep certain customers away :mjpls:

Seriously though we've all observed this foolishness where Black businesses are disrespected by Black customers, almost like they think the substitute teacher is in charge and they don't have to take the rules seriously.

Which I think it's partly related to not having a long experience with Black businesses but also they think the regular standards don't apply.

Kind of like how some Black women will openly say that they're better behaved with cacs than Black men that they date. :mjpls:

That transition from always-having-to-market-yourself to just-stay-quiet-and-earn is a difficult one for a lot of people.

this is a GREAT fukking point

to be fair tho for some of these rappers it’s possible that their “outside” ventures wouldn’t be as successful if their hip hop name/likeness wasn’t attached to it
