She doesn't promote. I love her to death but she needed to get serious a long time ago but didn't. Everything is one big crazy joke/game with her. She lives in NY but can't do the Breakfast Club/Hot 97/Thisis50/Sway in the morning run to promote her stuff? You got artist that fly in from everywhere to do just that.

If it's too much work then stop.

People trip me out with the idea that someone OWES them album sales. If your shyt was gettin people open then it would go viral. If it's got no legs then people ain't feelin it.

All you can really do is put something else out and hope the new thing has legs.

Not saying you dont have a overall good point about her but you're naive as hell if you think artist can just walk up to those stations or whatever and ask for interviews. It's a business. And most of the time its not up to the personalities sitting there either. Had she been on a major she'd be up there as part of the promotional budget the label would spend on her. And those stations are owned by iHeart, Emmis etc so they go hand-in-hand. Aint like she can just call and be like "ay, im coming next week". Its not even up to the on air personalities most of the time.

:russ:lol Cut it out. She's been on Sway before and every outlet I have named has had lesser known artist up there, don't give me that. Damn near anyone can go to this is 50, they had the "I'm Tryone and I'm here to fukk this guys wife" guy up there. :comeon:Don't sit up here and act like she isn't a legend who hasn't been in the game twenty years, that can't promote her stuff in her own city because of radio politics.
