I'm a fan of both Nas and Hov. My love for Nas outweighs Hov. Nas in my opinion is the greatest of all time. But, I remember when the whole Nas and Jay battled happened, of course I felt Nas won, but that Blueprint 2 record for some reason why dug deep in my soul. This was really post battle. Jay was real clever the way he put that record together. It had me and I didn't finish listening to the 2nd disc because of it.

Lines like...

Nas was number 5 on BET's all time list and was coming off a Platinum album at the time. No one forgot about him. Fans wouldn't had reacted when Jay said, "ask Nas he don't want it with Hov" if Nas was "irrelevant".

People Talking and that extended version of Don't You Know (Euro Hov) are the best songs that Jay made during the beef

BP2 was the first Jay album I ever bought, I'll never forget when I copped it on bootleg from a store on Pikin Ave in Brownsville.

This was my favorite song on the whole album, I didn't realize the entire 2nd verse was mostly dissing Nas until years later
