Jay definitely whining on this one, some of his fans don't want to hear it but he's basically crying about losing the Ether vs Takeover battle throughout this. Attempting to save face but making himself look even worse.

I won't even say it's a BAD song cuz it's alright and Jay always has a few gems in his flow. Jungle line is one of the highlights of the record!

The day I heard this isn't as significant as one particular time I heard it. In a room with like 10-15 dudes it was played and I told em it's weak how Jay was whining about losing the battle on it and they were like "nah he got em". Good to see my opinion is shared by many in The Booth.

BP2 was very underwhelming compared to Ether and I don't even like Ether. I prefer Build and Destroy and the Stillmatic Freestyle to it. Even as a Jay stan, I admit that he lost the battle. You just can't come back from a record like Ether. Takeover and Supa Ugly were good records though.
