He's extremely frustrating to watch. It's the finals not a regular season game in January, and he's still crying to the fukken refs after every missed shot. JUST MAKE SHOTS YOU p*ssy. How many layups has he missed, complains, doesn't hustle back, and the Warriors get a wide open look? Another problem is that he's all limbs. He doesn't know how to use his hip, butt:dame:, or his lower back to create space in the post or on drives. He'll drive and either push off with his off hand, or he will extend his arms leaving the ball open to be stripped while he expects the refs to bail him out like he's Harden a couple years ago. He's been missing free throws anyway though. How you gonna cry for fouls and shoot 72% from the line?

He's got a guy in Pierce who he can learn from who was not fast or explosive, but who had a good first step and nudged defenders where he wanted them to go so he can get a shot off. Luka is very good at doing that now. Instead Jay is waisting his time with some damn 5'10 "shooting guru" who doesn't know shyt about playing in the post or being physical.

C'mon Man. 33% shooting in an NBA finals? I know Kobe was his hero, but Kobe was actually mean, aggressive, and played with force. Please Jay just impose your will on this series :sadcam:

Book and Tatum couldn’t play like Kobe even if they wanted to because Kobe at the same age was so much more dynamic and explosive. Ironically Jaylen Brown actually does has the athletic ability to play that way :ehh:
Great point people always forget..Kobe was a freak athlete. Tatum and Book are good athletes it’s a difference.

Tatum is also very horrific off the ball. He just likes to stay at the top of the key and dance on the perimeter

Just imagine a 6'8 220 lb + forward playing off the ball. All the easy buckets he could get cutting to the basket, the post up opportunities, and the fouls he can draw on the opposing team

Mind boggling
Is this why Ime has him initiate the offense as much as he does? That's gotta be the next evolution to his game. He has too much size to be relying on running point to get going offensively
