I came into this thread thinking that if you take his soft hit songs out of the equation he'd be food against most top tier rappers, but the reality is he has a lot of non soft/r&b songs that are also successful and can be played in a hits battle against anyone. The problem with these hypothetical battle lists is the person who makes them strategically puts songs that clearly wouldn't fare against the other person on the list and leaves out a lot of good shyt that would make it a closer battle.

And there's a lot more features I didn't even include because I'm well over 20 songs at this point.

It's no conspiracy. My favorite Drake songs happen to be soft as fukk. I don't know why people want to pretend like Drake can compete. IF he were to compete, it has to be with his most popular songs. That's giving him a chance. Even if he has no chance. lol

His ranking is based on his versatility and stranglehold on current hip hop. It's based on his influence on music. It's not based on his actual rapping ability or his tough songs. He makes good songs.

People need to just say his popularity mean more to them when putting him ahead of Jay-Z or Nas or someone like that.

Only way for Drake to compete against Jay-Z in a 20 song battle and win would be if Jay didn't include songs from Reasonable Doubt, Vol 1, The BluePrint,The Black Album, American Gangster, and 4:44. Even then it would still be a victory in Jay-Z favor.
