:what:bruh you listen to Drake, now that's supporting an agenda.
What agenda do I have?

You clearly came in here to blame rappers you don't like for a problem that any sensible person knows that a rapper isn't respinsible for just so you can declare what we need more from rap

And when @Abogado says that the biggest rap artist don't promote drug use your reply is "Hiphop has changed to something else" :what:

What are you doing?

I didn't deny that Future talks about drug use.

I'm objecting to you placing the blame on kids doing drugs on Future

nah, i'm blaming these artists promoting drug use especially in this era. it used to be about selling drugs now they taking it. would you rather do the drugs and become a drug addict or make a profit off them? sounds harsh but that's the reality. the majority of these kids don't know better than what they here on record

Making music and doing drugs have always been associated with each other

Because you are dumb enough to believe the artist you love were kingpins and not junkies doesn't mean we all are that stupid

Prove to me that most kids don't know better? People were doing harder and more harmful drugs before rap ever existed

As predicted. The greater point is missing in favor of semantics about rappers in general, this rapper in particular etc.

Of course jay ain't the first to point out these truths, but yall want him to be the messenger of these truths to bring greater attention. When in the past he was more fatalistic about these things hence his reluctance to be all pulpitting and loud about it.

prove that they don't know better? look at social media, i've seen a bunch of druggies bump Future's musi like it's their religion. l i know how to seperate real life from fake, alot of these "kingpin" rappers are all fabricated by legends and myths from record labels. it's not all real. it's for you to decide whether you want to believe it or not.

The burden of proof is on you since you made the Claim and lurking IG isn't proof

Give me a generation in American history that didn't experiment with drugs?

You know how to separate real from fake but everyone is too stupid enough to do so? :stopitslime:

:jbhmm:

Pos rep pending

Just a few inconsistencies I observed when listening/watching that are centered around the focus of Regan/Nixon but ironically leaving out Clinton when alluding to the aftermath of the failed war (prisons being packed with minorities)

For name sake (since he attacked Reg/Nix... Why not complete he trinity and throw Bill in there for the homerun)

It's a dope illustration that's fairly accurate but it walks that propagandizing line... That fine line.... Where you see how it could play on the emotions of those impacted (and still impacted) today

The bottom line is both major political parties played a unique role in developing legislation that successfully destroyed lower economic communities and crippled the people who lived in them....

Nice try Hov. A for effort..

"Instead of a war on poverty they got a war on drugs so the police can bother me" the "war" on drugs was never supposed to be "won". It was just a form of systematic oppression to minorities. Nino Brown said it best "ain't no poppy fields in Harlem". How did poor minorities in the ghetto with absolutely no means of traveling get access to drugs?............someone put them there

thanks hov, after getting 500 million and bragging about it for 20 years
Bragging about it?

Telling tails about your former profession and making art from it is bragging?

How is this bragging?

Dude been talking about how lucky he is that he's alive, how all his mans got knocked, and on. Just cause you find it cool that a teenager sits outside in the most disgusting places in the states and eats cookies for 2 days straight while serving disgusting people disgusting shyt, doesn't mean that it's bragging.

Until BP3 he had been a drug dealer longer than he had been anything else, including a student and a professional rapper. Do you dudes just expect him to not rap about it? Specially when he does it so well.

The weird ones are the ones trying to make it seem super cool when they never did shyt in the streets, ehm Pablo Escobar, Freeway Ricky pun intended.
