its funny you have BP2 @ the bottom. yea it had its filler but the highs on that album stand among just best material. Jay was coming into his own in terms of mastering his flows and stepping up his lyrical game.

EHHH!! This album is overrated to me, it's good but it's missing an something. Blue Magic is trash and Success is a bland collabo. Hello Brooklyn and Fallin it could do without.

The Black Album is the only Jay-Z album that I love. It was the most cohesive, and probably his most personable. But Jay-Z is right..those are his 3 best albums and with AG, the only albums people really mention by him.

its arguable that american gangster is a better version of RD. but time and placement will never allow this to be honestly explored. people hold it too dear to their hearts. its one of those taboo things, like will smith saying willow was the experiment, but he perfected the talented douchebag kid equation w/ jaden.
