I think it says more about yall if you have access to IP's and whatnot and were seriously discussing that

i beg to differ, man. the simple fact that you have to pay for health insurance in this country or the hospital will leave you on a bed to die because the moment they hear they can't make money off of you is pure capitalism at work. there's babies that actually die because their parents have NO insurance. you basically have to pay to live. your life is basically at the mercy of a dollar bill and how much you can produce it. if you can't produce any cash, you might as well kill yourself.
It says more about you if you think that the owners of this site give the moderators access to IPs. :obamaword:
damn they keep you guys on a short leash
I wouldn't say it's a "myth". but yeah, they never talk about the actual poor/lower class
it's like repubs thing everyone can be rich, the dems think everyone can be middle class, meanwhile the majority of people are just poor
I know being middle class is subjective to where you live. I used to believe federal, state, and city workers were middle class bringing in 30-60k a year but now... pretty sure they are working poor breh breh.
that's the thing. they sell you this like if you get a steady job, you're "middle class". but then the numbers don't jive
if I had my way comrade, everyone would be "middle class". and i think that's what they're appealing to. this idea that the majority are in this Goldilocks zone. but they're not...
Calling people low-income doesn't work though. 91% of American think that they are in the middle class. Saying you're catering to the middle class is just as good as saying you're catering to the working poor. People will still it as directed towards them.
Maybe you missed the last few years in your Ivory Tower. People can't pay their rent or mortgage anymore. I don't think that plays well anymore.
Have you ever studied any focus group polling? Goodness. Thus, why I posted up the article the other day saying Americans have a "class consciousness" issue.
I live in the real world, unlike you. I don't need to see polling to know what's going on in the world around me.

Ok tough guy.
