Idk if he raps about shyt cause it's the cool thing to do. Since unlike most of these "socially conscious"rappers, he's actually socially conscious in real life and not just using that shyt for entertainment. To entertain equally fake people.
And it's been increasing with age, time he has to allocate to other things than making money and the circles in which he moves.
Jay raps about his life, that's what he does and what people enjoy with his music. If his life is about philanthropy and getting involved in different questions regarding society he should rap about it, just like he rapped about cocaine trade, the music game, bytches, friends, business, making money, losing money and whatever else he's gone through.
Obviously you dumb nikkas were too smart to catch what he has been doing. And did like 65 year old cacs and just summarized it as bytches, hoes, nikka rap

I agree No I.D. shouldn't be producing the whole thing, but one producer albums are a lot more likely to result in classic albums.
That's never really been Jay's mo though, and for a guy like him who doesn't have an album budget and can work with basically work with anyone, I'd prefer to see him get an all star team of producers.
All genres were invented by young people, then those people that started the genre get older and remain

Don't sleep on that No I.D. production, he did give you Holy Grail,Success, Run this town, Fallin, DoA from HOV. If it's in the vane of tracks like thatand just because No I.D. is producing who's to say he didn't have some other producer co-produce some tracks.
And he did some great work on Life is Good for Nas.
