Plus he's damn near 50 what could he possibly rap about at this stage...we know his life pretty much
If I'm willing to bet, hov is about to transcend rap. We can all be honest in that jay has been ahead of other artist content wise. He has a lot to say that I think is constrained in the fact that he used to be signed to other people in some form to ultimately release his music.

Tidal represents his absolute freedom, no need to do a samsung friendly album.

I expect nothing less than a classic given jays complete control over his career right now. And it's been dope that he's apart of the real first generation of rappers thats maintained a fan base with age, he's gonna feed us

:blessed:

Only track I like is Somewhere in America.

Can't fukk with NOTHING else.
....exactly, and that lazy ass flow on the song almost ruins it.

If Jay has an album full of the type of transcendent flows he last showed on "Thank You" (off BP3), I'll be happy. Like someone else said, if this is a "newly inspired Hov" type of album then cool...but if it's just another showcase for him to wave ride and exhibit those same lazy flows he been having.... :snoop:

Damn yo we need this. I hope this shyt hits. Raekwon did a great job of staying true to himself and releasing an album that sounded fresh while maintaining who he was. I hope Hov can do the same.
Yeah that Rae album is piff front to back. He basically made a legacy album showing cats his longevity in the game. Definitely a sleeper for aoty for me
