BC is dust status to Indy/AEW fans. Since most WWE fans going to the shows are insulated and not online following wrestling there's some mileage with BC in WWE

I don't like that idea above too much BC shouldn't be a top faction in 2023 but they should be able to get some life out of a AJ/Finn/White program if they want to

More of a Finn/White program since Finn was the one who brought Jay White into NJPW.

Is Jay White important enough to debut without any vignette to introduce him? I don't really follow NJPW, and I know for a fact that I am not the only one.

When he showed up in AEW, I was like

I'm sure he'll get a nice pop from the smark audience at the RAW after Mania if he shows up, but I guarantee you that 75% of the WWE audience will have no idea who he is.

Probably higher than 75% unless they watched those two or three AEW shows he was on.

He's not important enough which is why I say he needs AJ/some BC introduction. That number is probably higher than 75%, maybe not the Raw after WM but every other show after, 90%+ will have no idea what a Jay White is or care if not handled right. I didn't know who he was till he came to Impact for a few weeks last year and I sit here with y'all talking this shyt lol.

He needs AJ or somebody else super over as buffer, can't just drop him in like Warzone and expect return on investment imo

When’s the last time someone got a vignette that didn’t come through NXT or was fired

Throw him in with the OC and have Balor turn on whatever his group and join them a few weeks later, you've got 3 Bullet Club leaders and a couple "Good" lackeys/the tag team, you've instantly got a dope stable to anyone outside the bubble of the E. So, probably not that many WWE fans but TONS of AEW fans. Let them destroy Cody when he's doing his celebratory interview the night after he beats Roman, and you instantly have a top new heel stable to replace the Bloodline.

CHICAGO
vs Kota Ibushi at Wrestle Kingdom 15
vs Will Ospreay at the 47th Anniversary Show

Those are his best matches to me. Also can't forget about the match vs Okada in MSG at G1 Supercard.

Arguably the best bout in njpw at the time and not talked about:

Switchblade vs hangman

Completely downplayed like Jericho in the entire main event scene.
exposing njpw main events systemically as the painmaker. Which is not talked about and why people wonder how Jericho was aew champion.
When he worked his way up at that time as rhe best worker. Same as switchblade after Jericho left.

Secretary: Mr. White? Mr. McMahon is ready for you?
Jay White: McMahon? I thought I was meeting with Triple H.
Secretary: He's no longer handling free agent negotiations. Right this way.
Vince: So you're Jay White huh?
Jay White: Yea, that's me.
Vince: Great, have a seat next to Johnny.
Johnny Ace: Hey Jay, big fan of yours!
Jay White: Uh, thanks.
Vince: As you may have heard, there have been some changes around here. Paul and Stephanie weren't cutting the mustard, and I've had to take over to right the ship.
Jay White: So I've heard from Doc and Karl.
Vince: Wait, we hired back Gallows and Anderson? I'll take care of that later. So you say you're the catalyst of pro wrestling?
Jay White: Glad you've seen my promos and are a fan of my work...
Vince: I've never seen a match or promo of yours in my life pal. Ace here vouched for you since he spent time in Japan and has seen you in action.
Johnny Ace: As much as I love watching Paw Patrol over and over, it kinda gets predictable after seeing every episode 2-3 times. I can't wait for the Rubble & Crew spinoff! Anyways, when I'm not watching Paw Patrol, I'm watching Japanese wrestling and you've come up a couple times.
Vince: I've got to be honest, I'm struggling to come up with something for you. You just don't stand out to me and we haven't had any previous superstars from New Zealand.
Jay White: The Bushwhackers are from my country.
Vince: Guess we...wait a minute...
Johnny Ace: I know what's coming! This is so exciting Jay!
Vince: How about you're Duke, the nephew of the Bushwackers! We'll update the gimmick a little bit, but it writes itself pal!
Johnny Ace: You did it again Vince! Jay, this man is a genius! He was forced into retirement but has not lost his touch at all. This will be an incredible gimmick that will launch your career!
Jay White: I was the IWGP Heavyweight Champion twice, headlined a MSG show and have held several other belts with the company.
Vince: I don't know what that means Duke, but we'll get the paperwork drawn up and sent over to you right away!
Johnny Ace: Welcome to the team Jay!
Jay White: Uh, thanks. I'll look out for it *texts Tony Khan to see if he can get the Miro contract*

Doesn't seem too far fetched now :sas2:

I said it in the other thread, wouldn't surprise me if he's a part of that Juice Robinson/Ricky Starks match and is All Elite by Thursday morning.

I figured he'd feud with Adam Cole at some point too since he was the one that knocked Cole out of action for so long.

I don't want to see that shyt though :hubie:
