He did and he knew it too which is why he started yelling at the end of it. If he hadn’t have run out of names for himself he might have come out better.
Blade is a great stand alone promo, kind of like an actual athlete would be. He’s not a back and forth guy

He didn't. Jay more than held his own against MJF, who IMO loses points for biting Triple H word for word bar for bar
He didn't say much in the promo, only used MJF's friendship with Cole to start the mind games.
Then he went in full egotrip mode with all his usual talking points and catchphrases and since his delivery is always on point it worked perfectly.
It's just the start of the feud let's see where they're going next.

MJF got Jay with the tofu line, but he recovered a bit. It took years for dude to break out of the bland area, but the fact remains true. But the promo was far from disastrous. Mu fukkas making up shyt.
