Thats cool. I want a simple life one day too. But at like 50 not 30.

And if he really wanted to help people he should invest that money and make some moves. HE could bring in a big return on 25 million and that would feed a lot more poor people then his farm.
He could also lose it all trying to double up. You have no place trying to tell that man how to spend the money he earned for his family.

In the Silver Lining
the potential parkinsons and body break down seems to me like a good trade off

I've been thinking the same thing over the past few years after revelations of the head trauma you get....knowing what we know now..if I ever made it to the NFL...I would try to sign for the best 5 -7 year deal I could get..and get the hell out.... probably wouldn't do a whole bunch with regards to fending off head injury impacts in later life..... ..but better than 10 years I guess.......and of course save.....drive an economy Lexus to work or something..just chill out, unless i'm investing. But that's just if I was in that position :yeshrug:

Lol. Who said anything about trying to "double up". I'm talmbout making small managed investments with his money. Something hes probably already doing anyway.

I wasn't trying to "tell this man how to spend the money he earned for his family", i was posting my musings on the thread topic.

Good for him. nikka pulled off an eternal W.

Giving back to the earth and getting out of a pointless barbaric sport that leaves some of it's best players in shambles mentally, physically and financially.

:blessed:
