I don't really see what New Japan are getting from this AEW relationship.

It's all one way....AEW get their top talent who all do jobs on Dynamite, meanwhile New Japan get fukkin Archer in the G1

I assume they will win some of the matches at Forbidden Door. Think we'll get some sort of longer term Bullet Club vs. Undisputed/Elite story.

White is more seasoned and a much better personality this time around. I’m curious to see how this reign is. On the low, I might even become a fan of dude if he’s cracking out good matches. Need Hangman/White at FD.

Ishii and Suzuki lost, but they also had a million people watch, and are in the twilight of their careers.

White is more seasoned and a much better personality this time around. I’m curious to see how this reign is. On the low, I might even become a fan of dude if he’s cracking out good matches. Need Hangman/White at FD.

Jay has BEEN cranking out great matches, he is a machine. On a roll since he main evented a NEVER title bout with Tana.

Just had to get the cocky persona to match his accomplishments.

Definitely would've liked to see more AEW stars in G1. Maybe they can add a few to the new japan cup instead. The relationship has been mostly one sided like some of you have said. Hopefully that changes. Lets see what Forbidden Door does. Definitely excited about a possible BD vs ZSJ match. Tanahashi vs Mox should be good also. I think Mox wins and then loses to Punk at Full Gear if he's back by then. And could setup Tanahashi vs Punk at WK for aew title. Tho if Punk due back sooner than All Out, wouldn't mind a short Tanahashi reign. But that match is a better Tokyo Dome match. Highly likely we see United Empire vs FTR. Maybe even titles for titles. Can't throw JE in the mix or do them instead cuz they would get killed by UE especially Jungle Boy. Not too sure about a possible White vs Page match but there really isn't anyone worthy of facing him especially with Punk injured, Kenny out, and Cody gone. Definitely not Adam Cole. Maybe Miro might be the best one in my opinion. If they do a six man tag match, definitely would like to see House of Torture vs Death Triangle. That would be a good match.

The new G1 format looks intriguing. Wonder how they'll do the finals with each block winner. Maybe a 4 man elimination tournament. I don't think I've seen NJPW do a multi man singles match like a fatal fourway. But should be interesting to see how they do it.

The G1 has had semi finals before. The question is if they keep the semis for the final night or if they book them as the main events of the first two days of the triple header that they've been using to close the tour.
