It's amazing, honestly. Usually when WK comes around, I'd at least be hyped to see the big matches at some point, but now, I couldn't give a shyt. They've been beaten down bad by a combination of COVID, Japanese policy regarding COVID, and their own idiotic mistakes over the years. It's not the end of the world or anything, but this used to be the hottest promotion in the world 3-4 years ago and now it might be the first or second coldest.
They need to think very seriously about changing things up in that company. Then again, we've been banging that drum in here for a few years now, so
It kinda blows me where other Japanese promotions are easily dealing with the pandemic, while NJPW just stuck in a weird rut. From the stupid booking to the rely on gaijins that sadly is stuck in the states because of Japan jobbing to Covid, I don't blame purogang for not giving a shyt about Wrestle Kingdom. Hell, I'm still mindblown that WK is around the corner and doing like 3 nights worth of ass matches
