We tend to call the period when he went full retard with his ideas and booking, not his whole mentality of making people believe one version of wrestling was better than others (that basically ended up creating shoot style and later MMA in Japan). I don't think anyone downplays the role Inoki played in latter.

In the U.S? right now? no one can be considered a draw. After AEW kinda fumbled Omega, I don't think anyone has risen to be called a legit draw in the States
