The Traps of Unified Korea
If the night 2 champ vs champ matchup is Ibushi vs Naito, who do you think the japanese audience will root for? I mean, it would be a split crowd no doubt but the japanese always end up siding with one over the other in those type of situations. I'm legit curious because I can see both of them getting the nod from the fans.
Ibushi if he wants it that way. Otherwise he'll stiff Naito early and heel it up on him and give the crowd that lunatic look. That's also immediately how you know if he's going to be losing or winning most of his big matches. :russ:

When's the last time you saw a match centered around someone's ear? That was such a common match story in the 70s and it seems like one of those things that got dropped entirely by the 90s unless deathmatches still do it.

Yup, ears and nose. I think the only post 2000 wrestler I've seen working the nose is Danielson :lawd:

Tokyo Sports 2019:

MVP - Kazuchika Okada

Best Team - Suwama/Ishikawa
Outstanding - Kento Miyahara
Fighting Spirit - Kaito Kiyomiya

:mjtf: there's no way Sanada loses to Okada part 8 was even the best match either of those two guys had this year, right?

You do this every year :russ: Tokyo Sports award are as useless as PWI 500 breh. Two years ago they gave Violent Giants Tag Team of the year when those dudes had barely 1 month together and like 3 matches total :mjlol:
