Pretty sure the winner of the loser/loser match will get a title shot during the New Beginning tour in February while the person who loses twice will get a redemption arc after two big losses. Don't think Juice is walking out with two belts unless Gedo is really sold on him being the top gaijin heavyweight.

The winner of the losers bracket getting a shot at the double champ :skip:

Realized I still have the AJPW Archive through 1985, hadn't made it through 1979, hadn't updated my log of it in over a year :mjlol:

Kevin/David Von Erich vs Baba/Jumbo from 5/31/79 :blessed:

There's gotta be a great David vs Jumbo singles match from around this time. If not :martin:

Wondering if SANADA might take the RevPro belt. Random match-up that I guess they built during the World Tag League?

I don't know about the loser vs loser match being a no 1 contender match, I'd say the winner of the losers match faces the loser of the main event for the right to contend for the Heavyweight title. Then the loser of that contender match can face the loser of the losers match to determine the contender for the IC title. Naito loses all matches but gets redemption by beating Goto two times (Goto wins one match against Naito in between though).[/Gedo]

If the night 2 champ vs champ matchup is Ibushi vs Naito, who do you think the japanese audience will root for? I mean, it would be a split crowd no doubt but the japanese always end up siding with one over the other in those type of situations. I'm legit curious because I can see both of them getting the nod from the fans.

Takuya Nomura vs Fuminori Abe - BASARA 11/26/19
Takuya Nomura vs. Fuminori Abe - BASARA 112 ~ Banquet ~

The Young Gawd and Abe do it again, restoring that shoot style feeling giving 13 minutes of intense grappling and striking :wow:. Felt like they went to war for 30+. Some nice counters by Abe, who still impresses me no matter how much I see from him, Nomura's slaps remain the best in the business. I hope Barnett books them for the next Bloodsport, Astronauts need more eyes on them. This was really fukking good @TrueEpic08 @Scottie Drippin @Ace of the Metropolitan @SubZeroDegrees @trick @Legal @TheGodling @3Rivers

Daisuke Sekimoto, Akira Hyodo & Takuho Kato vs Ryota Hama, Yasufumi Nakanoe & T-Hawk - BJW Saykiu Tag League Final day 11/26/19
Akira Hyodo, Daisuke Sekimoto & Takuho Kato vs. Ryota Hama, T-Hawk & Yasufumi Nakanoue

Good ol' fun Strong BJ 6 man tag. Glad to see the kids get a showcase like this one, I hope they get another one for the New Year's show. I love when Poppa Daisuke cheers for his students on the outside, breh just shouting their names like a legit coach :russ: T-Hawk was pretty dope in this match too.

BTW, if they really going the :demonic: route with Ibushi then Okada better prepare himself for a beating. Like a Shibata-lite experience, Kota goes full retard when he loses his shyt :ohlawd: I remember he almost concussed Sekimoto to death in 2010 when he first showed this side of him.

fukking fire and it was like 15 min :ohlawd: :ohlawd:

Okada gonna be 40 mins minimum :unimpressed: 40 min of fire tho :mjcry:

Daisuke Sekimoto & The Bodyguard vs Violent Giants - All Japan RWTL Day 4, 11/12/19
https://vk.com/video-5899799_456243354?list=fd2162b0516897d753 (starts at the 1hr19min mark)

I mean, at this point you should know what to expect from a match with these four involved :heh: really liked the middle portion with Sekimoto and BODYGAH working on Shuji. It's very rare to see Violent Giants work on the defensive and they pulled it off nicely. I loved how Sekimoto and Ishikawa enter at the 1 minute mark and the two fukkers just destroy each other with stiff strikes immediately :dead:

Daisuke Sekimoto & The Bodyguard vs NEXTREAM (Kento Miyahara & Yuma Aoyagi) - All Japan RWTL Day 7 11/21/19

https://vk.com/video-5899799_456243386?list=d3c636b098fc6072f3 (starts at the 2hr03min mark)

Holy shyt :whew: was not expecting this match to be this good. It follows a more southern tag formula, with Kento getting isolated and leaving Aoyagi by himself to survive the beating the dudes, specially BODYGAH, have in store for him. They are able to keep things interesting for the first 15 minutes of the match, it's nothing out of the ordinary but there's enough to keep your attention. Aoyagi is a good face in peril but his offense is so weak that his hope spots don't have as much "hope" as they should, imo. Still, the kid takes the beating like a man and his comeback lead to a nice hot tag by Miyahara. Then we get the last 7 minutes which were fukking GREAT and truly elevated the match to another level. In the end it's Sekimoto and Aoyagi slugging it out and really feels like the kid turns the corner as a performer: fire, a little better strikes and some impressive moves. Great nearfalls and even though Korakuen was sadly half empty, the crowd was lit for the home stretch. This match won me over like a motherfukker, definitely check it out @SubZeroDegrees @Scottie Drippin

PS: Kento going :gucci: at the crowd chanting for Daisuke was awesome :russ:

Jumbo/Sheik having one of their normal bloody brawls, then The Sheik grabs the ring bell hammer and starts cracking a young boy in the head with it :picard:
