I understand the "too much shyt to watch/ I don't know any of these guys". But the strong division is mainly 8 to 12 minute matches that 90% of the time have all the stuff we love about puro, the other 10% it might have a match where there's too much excess but it's always warranted (a big main event or having dudes like Shuji working a match).

The "best of matches" I wrote the other day would take like 4 hours to watch total, at most :heh:

Why watch 4 hours of something new when I could watch 500 hours of something I'm familiar with and don't like

I do keep trying it and then get bored and give up and then feel like there's so much shyt I've missed that I don't really want to get caught up. Also not knowing most of the guys or their moves and shyt just ends up with me going to bed instead. I'm too old and my head is stuffed too full of wrassle shyt that I just can't find the motivation to really be checking out and getting into new shyt. Kind of like every Netflix trial I get ends up with me marathoning The Office or Gilmore Girls for the 8th time instead of watching the highly acclaimed new shyt.

:russ: I have all these new puro shows on deck and instead I'm watching The Office for the 100th time

I've been off the complete shows train for years. The DDT/Big Japan Tag team fukkery was the first non-WWE event I saw in full in a LOOONG ass time. I don't even do it with WWE anymore :dead:

Watched all the BJW Strong Heavyweight title matches of 2018 these past two weeks. This is my kind of shyt so I will probably check out some more BJW. :ehh:

I really like the old school heel role Hideki Suzuki plays. Dude wrestles like a legit champion but towards the end of the match does some underhanded shyt (low blow, closed fist, raking the eyes) out of necessity or frustration and gets booed. It's especially awesome because his theme sounds like some Rocky movie victory theme which is amazing after he's done some dirty shyt to win the match. :wow:

Also, I know some folks in TSC always complain about size queens but fukk that shyt, first time I saw Daisuke Sekimoto come out (I only knew him by name before this) I was like 'Put all of the belts on him!'. :krs:

There's at least hope of seeing some good interactions, but I have no interest of seeing Mil Mascaras crawling around the ring and Rikidozan Jr. :francis:

It's a tribute show after all. They have to bring everyone who's still alive from when Baba was around.
