Imagine Takahashi joining Shibata at the LA Dojo as a trainer... them white boys are gonna be taught "Killing yourself for the culture" classes all day every day.:wow:

Top rope inside out senton drills for everyone :blessed:

Seriously, depressing news if his career is over. Wrestlers are going to learn to be more careful with their bodies soon enough. Maybe it's just me, but people seem to be getting injured at increasing, and kind of alarming rates over the past few years or so. shyt has to be pulled back at some point.

I think part of it is that companies are a lot quicker to pull people off the road these days. In the 70s/80s/90s/00s pretty much everyone was working hurt all the time unless shyt was torn from the bone or snapped. All these concussion issues would have been ignored completely all over the world even 5-10 years ago. You had to have a Bret Hart retirement grade concussion and PCS to get pulled and that wasn't even 20 years ago. The rise of Crossfit like training has also led to a bunch of joint injuries, especially shoulders.

I don't think there have been that many injuries happening in matches themselves, most seem to happen during training or just general wear and tear beyond the big ones like Shibata (which was 1000% preventable) and Hiromu (which is a dangerous move that I'm amazed hasn't resulted in more injuries since Steen was doing it in PWG with zero protection).

Being roided the fukk out causes more injuries than it prevents. Particularly muscle tears. Which you might have noticed kept happening to Taker/Batista/HHH/Cena :sas1:

Japenese didn't have those injuries though, and the steroid diet was a mandatory for almost every heavyweight :pachaha:

The Suzuki Gun interactions in World Tag League have all been pretty entertaining so far.:mjlol:

Taichi running from Lance Archer, then telling him 'Come on over here! :troll:' when Lance screams at him to come down from the bleachers :dead:

Lance Archer lowkey getting counted out, and the ref throwing the count out cadence in the bushes to cover for him :lolbron:

Davey Boy Jr vs ZSJ. shyt felt like WOS through and through:ohhh:

Does anyone lnow if Yoshida and Umino have had any standout matches in the tag league? They are the only team that interest me, I know they haven't won any match but I'd be interested too see if they've had any showcase.
