DDT drew 700 people at Korakuen today for the second to last day of their King of DDT tournament

Semis and the finals are tomorrow and should get a much better attendance but it's still telling how little people care right now unless something relevant is on the line.

Yeah I noticed those vacant chairs:patrice:. Maybe DDT need to slow down on these pointless ass tournaments with no rhyme or reason to them shyts. I enjoyed watching the first round though:whew:. Bailey trying to beat the cartilage out of his legs by the age of 30:banderas:

Watching the 3rd round of King of DDT. I'm digging the serious transformation of Hirata. When MAO tried to flaunt his goofy glasses in front of him, dude didn't take the bait and was determine to focus on winning the tournament :wow:.

I'm late but I just caught the G1 finals, and I know I don't watch as much as I could but why on earth would they book Tabahashi to win the G1 again? where is the appeal for him to be chasing the title again? How do you not book Ibushi in that spot especially after he hit him with the dragon suplex from outside the ring then the last ride, no one should get up from that. that was some wwe style booking

RealHero has upped day 1 of the Saikyo Tag League and Death Mania :blessed: @SubZeroDegrees @Scottie Drippin

Only was able to watch one match...

Daisuke Sekimoto & Hideki Suzuki vs Takuya Nomura & Fuminori Abe - Big Japan Saikyo Tag League 8/12/18
Daisuke Sekimoto & Hideki Suzuki vs. Fuminori Abe & Takuya Nomura

An escalation from their match in May. It's only 9 minutes long so it's a sprint in every sense of the word. The big veterans don't waste any time and go straight at the young boys before the bell rang but it doesn't pay off for them as Nomura and Abe quickly turn things around with their speed and stiffness. Similar to their first match, the action mainly focuses on Suzuki having to fend off these two c*nts that have no issue kicking and slapping the shyt out of him. The big difference here is that Sekimoto IS NOT fukkING AROUND this time. My dude got pissed QUICK and did not want to take any shyt from the small kids. I loved and laughed my ass off when Nomura slapped him straight in the face and then got away as quick as possible on some :hubie: shyt, pissing Sekimoto even more :russ:. This lacked a more dramatic ending to reach another level, but everything that happened in this match was awesome. It's less than 10 minutes, go watch it an enjoy :blessed:

I'll catch up either tomorrow or Thursday :myman:

They had a couple of years to transition away from being Kota reliant and really botched it. Sakaguci improved but not that much, and Young Future just isn't ready yet. shyt might get dark for them. They're gonna have to hitch their wagon to the other small companies and invaders again and hope it works out, like it did for them a decade ago with Kota really blossoming in the stuff with Dice. Every time they go to Irie the fukking company nosedives.

And now Sasaki main eventing Peter Pan :picard:

If DDT was smart, they would put the battery in Shunma's back. Dude been killing it this year since NwA broke up. I'm digging his underdog story. I just hope the belt is off of Dino by the time Peter Pan happens, I'm still trying to figure out why did they put the belt on him....along with Sami:mindblown:

Because Irie at the top was once again a gigantic dud. The Sami thing is just an old fashioned touring belt swap.

:dwillhuh:Breh, this hot potato ass belt.

Come on breh, we all knew Meiko was winning the belt as soon ass that match was announced.

I'd be fine with them playing hot potato with the belt if this was going anywhere. It's not the first time the KO-D belt is treated like this (Dino's been champ before) but as @Scottie Drippin said, DDT's main problem is that they have no one to rely on right now to draw and carry the company.
