What do you guys think are AJPW‘s biggest problems keeping them from getting bigger than they are? Kento is as good a top guy as there is anywhere else in the world but those AJPW undercards are brutal and not very good. Just wondering what you guys think of that.

A way better TV deal, preferably a national one. But that could be said about any puro promotion, New Japan included (which they've said they trying to get).

Kento, the roster and even the inconsistent booking have very little to do with All Japan's current ceiling to be honest.

Without going into a perfect what if scenario, the only thing that could create a decent spark for them would be to acquire a little more talent and have a big interpromotional feud with New Japan. But even that is an unrealistic scenario, specially if we take into consideration how NJPW likes to book those types of feuds (total or eventual domination).

AJ actually has a pretty solid undercard actually even though it's mostly freelancers. IMO what they need to break out is a dojo graduate class similar to the four pillars from AJ and the three musketeers from NJ but i highly doubt that's gonna happen.

I'm not even sure that would work. They've had a good amount of talent the last 10-12 years, in 07' and 08' with Sanada, Soya and Kento, and a couple of years later Takumi Soya and Jake Lee. All Japan didn't have the tools to take full advantage of them - in Takumi's case, he had to retire due to injury - and the TARU/Hirai incident changed everything. Now they have Nomura and Aoyagi. That tournout is on par with New Japan in the same period. I'm not sure All Japan would be able to take full advantage of a class with the talent of Four Pillars or Three Musketeeers, it seems they don't they wouldn't have the tools to keep them or the avenues to show them and let them flourish as "next level" type of stars.

MiSu still on that shoot style vibe :wow:

@SubZeroDegrees I asked STRIGGA about Yuji's return and he said he's traveling with the roster but no word on his return. Then another dude chimed in and said he doesn't have a sling anymore and that the Sumo Hall show in November seems like the best guess for his return.

Okay, makes sense since the prognosis was a year.

A match with MiSu after battling cancer seems way more like a punishment than a life affirming celebration :picard:

Zeus finally did it @Ace of the Metropolitan :wow:

And the young kids beat the grumpy legends :blessed:

Im tryna watch this most recent Zeus vs Miyahara match. Where can i watch? I aint tryna cop the streaming service yet and i cant it on no other sites :damn:

Nothing has been upped in months from All Japan. It's similar to what happened when DDT Universe first showed up, it took a while before people began uploading stuff from the streaming service. The thing is, their shows aren't being taped by SamuraiTV and I don't even when GAORA tapes their stuff, so the only way we can get stuff is if someone that has their service begins to rip it and share it.

If nothing shows up in a month, I think I'm just gonna sub :manny: I'm also gonna drop that money for BJW just so I can see Togo vs Sekimoto :francis:

Good to see DG wrestlers freelancer more. Masaaki Mochizuki & Shun Skywalker wrestled at the recent AJ show.
