Yeah. I just don't think they have much of a choice. They prolly did business with the NWA just go get Kojima the belt and now they have to take whatever the NWA gives them to keep the storyline rolling. Conway is pretty much the cream of the NWA crop and it only gets worse from there. Word to Jax Dane :snoop:
Yeah Jax Dane is fukking horrible. At least they all make Conway look credible.

They should have never brought NWA back from the dead. Its like bringing a friend back from the dead only to find out hours later theyve contacted cancer. They should have let Franchise be the official end.

*edit* Big Daddy Yum-Yum?! :russ:

Wes Brisco? is that Jay and Mark's brother?

Gerald's son, no relation to Jay & Mark.
:dead:

Cot damn. I think they gonna over expend like crazy to get Punk for Wrestle Kingdom.

I wonder if MVP could serve as a bridge between the two sides (he's very close to Punk). Imagine Punker not giving a fukk about money and working the G-1 just as a bucket list thing :krs:

I think New Japan appearances would be a far better use of his time than doing a fight with Bellator or whatever. Getting Punk for the G-1 might actually be the only way I could realistically see them topping last year.

Wait, they have to keep the storyline rolling? Didn't we blow this off already? And if it must continue, why NJPW and not NWA-NoOneGivesAfukk?

They HAVE to give this dead organization visibility?

It'll continue as long as Kojima has the belt, and it'll be in NJPW because as big of a mark as Kojima is of the U.S. ain't no one actually tryna show up in any NWA territory in 2014 :heh:

This is the same company after all that really put on a Jeff Hardy singles match for the TNA title in the Dome.

Well, puro companies have always had an obsessions with US wrestling (I think it's a cultural thing too). No matter how trash someone is, if he's coming from the states he'll be seen as more important than average by default. That's why Tanahashi and Okada were seen as bigger stars after being in TNA even though they did jack shyt in them.

That's why I think New Japan would do everything in their power to get Punk even if it's just for 1 date. That would be a huge boost for them perception wise.

SO Morishima was used as a transitional champ. He lost the title to Nagata on today's show. I still don't care about NOAH :wow:

I like the idea of Nagata having one last run as a World champion. Even though they stifled Morishima's momentum (honestly he had little to none anyway) I believe this was a good move on NOAH's part.

Heard Nakamura vs Tanahashi was great but haven't seen that yet.

I did watch the last 2 matches of yesterday's iPPV. Naito vs Ishii was sloppy at times but the got it together for the finishing stretch. My man Ishii keeps getting higher on the card, it still gets me :to: seeing him become a star after all those years of keeping him in low level feuds and matches and having 1 MOTYC a year in Korakuen Hall. He made it y'all, anything possibbblee!

Okada vs Goto was great. The headbutt counter to the rainmaker was :ohlawd:, I liked how they protected Goto by never being able to hit the Shouten.

I haven't watched yesterdays, but I did watch the one from the 9th. Nakamura vs. Tanahashi was fukking great. The perfect use of kicking out of finishers. Just...really good. Goto/Shibata vs. Okada/Jobber-HASHI was excellent as well. Really nice double team counter to the Rainmaker there and i'm a mark for everyone involved save for YOSHI-HASHI. Both matches were worth watching. I'll check out the other one later today hopefully. Long ass events.

Is KENTA still coming in or was that just a rumor?

I just looked at the results for the two shows and saw that there may be a Gracies/Yano and Iizuka match in the making.

Are these fukkers mad?

Also, apparently Naito/Ishii was excellent, better than the Okada/Goto main event. Can anyone confirm?

Not a chance. It was good but as I said in my earlier post, it was way to sloppy at times and it didn't really hit all cylinders until the final stretch (which was great). I was more invested in the Goto match to be honest.

Were did you get that feedback breh? wrestlingforum?
