Looks like Yuji Okabayashi could be out for quite a while.

Just Yujin has informed that Yuji Okabayashi after the injury last Saturday and a subsequent surgery sidelined most of the year 2014. Get well soon from us.

Nakajima vs. Kenou on 2/3

Sugiura return vs. Kotoge on 2/3

Haste vs. Morishima as the 2/3 main event (they had a really great match last year)

Here's today's iPPV. The main event (Okada/Nak/Ishii vs. Goto/Tana/Naito) is must-see in my opinion. I didn't watch the rest of the show, but it had a couple tags involving the Bullet Club that looked solid on paper.

Kyosuke Mikami is back from his learning excursion in CMLL, and he's playing a character based on El Mariachi from Robert Rodriguez's Mexico trilogy.



You could jump right in with the new Tokyo Dome show and that'd be a fine starting point. New Japan has been steadily building momentum for years now though, and I'd suggest at least playing catch up on 2013. That was probably the best in-ring year I've ever seen, from any promotion.

Getting back into NJPW these last few months has been everything, brehs. Nakamura (hard to believe this is the same guy that fought Angle years back, how'd that transition go down?), Ishii & Shibata are my dudes right now. Anyone know why Meltzer has such a hard on for Tanahashi though? I think he's VERY VERY good, but not some clear wrestler of the year like he always hypes him up to be.

It's a mystery really. Tana is awesome but Dave overrates the guy to annoying levels.

I thought about asking a while back but then I realised that I didn't know who's mod around here so I didn't know who to @ The Raw threads get upped so someone is around, I don't know who though. I'm biased but I think we should be stickied ; thread is informative, filled with vids, anyone can get advice and there's discussions and disagreements that are always good spirited
