Actually more excited to do a Jumbo vs Misawa: Gaiden set of various side matches like Kawada vs Taue, Jumbo vs Kobashi, etc. In a lot of the tag matches, the side stories that don't involve Jumbo vs Misawa directly are actually the hottest parts of the matches.

Takuya Nomura would be a great pickup for New Japan's junior division, but he will most likely stay loyal to BJ and Hideki for the rest of his career.

I doubt New Japan would be interested. If Strong BJ can't get a shot when they have helped every promotion they have worked with, I doubt a young Jr would too. The only chance he could have is being friends with management or a big star...or having a name like Daichi.

NJPW Cup 2017: Rounds 2-3-4

Finished up NJ Cup. Big drop off after the first round. I hate when they do that house show shyt for G1, and having the entire second round as single shot hard cam shots in front of 200 people made the whole thing look weak. Watching Ishii/Kenny got me to thinking: Is there a single thing Seth Rollins does better than Kenny Omega? I'm still not 100% sold on Kenny, but I was watching that match and thinking this dude is everything Seth has been trying to be for the past 3 years.

Guess I'm on to watching Shibata ruin his life

What are his best matches? I've only seen his matches in New Japan and I don't understand the appeal of a stringbean wearing a diaper doing holds for fifteen minutes. But admittedly he might have some better stuff that I haven't seen.
