At least it is something different than the past 3-4 years, but I can't say I'm into the new dudes. Why Marufuji instead of of Go? G1 always produces great matches, but 70% of the whole thing is filler matches. They should go back to 8 or 16 man fields instead of 20.

Fukking Bad Luck Fale getting a spot every year :pacspit::pacspit::pacspit:

Also I think this is the first time in years Tenzan isn't participating.

Suzuki-Gun is never coming back. Oh, well.

Would have really preferred either Boss Sugi or Go to Marafuji or Nakajima :sadbron:

Shibata and Naito are the only possible winners out of B Block. Dream scenario for me is a Shibata/Tana final, but we know the drill :sadcam:

I was moron for having faith in Gedo after Naka and Ibushi left. I thought he was going to do something interesting for the G-1 and reset some shyt for the future. Same old Gedo, same old shyt :pacspit:

If he fukks Los Ingobernables vs New Japan up his laziness will know no limit.

Gedo is THE laziest booker anywhere. For years. It's fascinating how NJ came back to prominence with him booking the same 6 guys in various matches over and over and over and over and over for 5 years.

Tanahashi vs Okada: 9 singles matches 6 years
Tanahashi vs Nakamura: 7 singles matches in 5 years
Tanahashi vs Shibata: 4 times in 3 years
Tanahashi vs AJ: 4 times in 2 years
Tanahashi vs Naito: 10 times in 6 years

Okada vs Naito: 7 times in 4 years
Okada vs Nakamura: 6 times in 6 years
Okada vs AJ: 5 times in under 2 years
Okada vs Goto: 10 times in 6 years

Nakamura vs Goto: 12 times in 5 years
Nakamura vs Naito: 5 times in 2 years

He basically books a Cena/Orton feud every 3 months...with multiple people. And has been doing it for years, yet business blew up and keeps getting hotter. So strange. This shyt isn't even counting the dozens of tag matches.

It'd be less of a shock than someone like Omega or Yoshi winning.
Are you insinuating Yoshi-Hashi should be winning the G1, or indeed relevant in any way, shape, or manner? :dwillhuh:

And Kenny winning would be less of a shock than Shibata winning. Kenny was a star in DDT who speaks the language fluently and is committed entirely to NJPW for years to come and will absolutely be IWGP champion one day.
