Wrestle Dream will probably outdraw Wrestle Kingdom because that NJPW roster is rough
Depends on the matches breh. AEW and CMLL talent ain't attracting/selling more tickets unless they get paired up in matches that grab the attention of the Japanese crowd. And with the current state of New Japan it's not easy to find possible matchups that can draw in January 5th. The Jan 4th show will probably sell off the strength of tradition and New Japan trying to put the best card possible

I do wonder if Okada coming back after only 12 months will have real impact, regardless of who he faces. My guess is that Naito defends on Janurary 4th against Tsuji (or one of the young kids). Maybe make Okada challenge the winner the next day? I don't know.

Okada, Danielson (if he is down for it as a part-timer), Jay White, Will Ospreay, Kenny Omega, and Takeshyta after this G1 he is about to have are going to be bigger draws than the vast majority of that New Japan roster. There's a reason why they put the title back on washed Naito, because virtually no one else on that roster has the star power to main event a Tokyo Dome show.

Omega and Ospreay can draw a Sumo Hall crowd, Tokyo Dome is a different beast.

Okada yes, but he hasn't been gone for long and there aren't a fresh matchups for him. It's not a sure thing that match against Kenny (to give an example) can push the Jan. 5th show further.

Danielson is not a big draw in Japan by himself, same as Takeshyta. Japanese fans aren't gonna be buying tickets if they get Dragon in a tag match (or against other AEW talent or midcard New Japan talent). And for Takeshyta to draw, he needs to start a rivalry in the G-1, not just have a showcase performance.

We are talking about a Dome show here. A 15k attendance is (sadly) realistic for a back to back show but it wouldn't make the effort of making this show possible worth it, imo. I'd love to see it get a good crowd but I have no idea how they can get it, I hope they do though.
