Too early. ALmost got blown out but the Knicks incompetence saved them. Until we see Harden play with the sixers and Ben come back we dont know shyt.
Oh, but we do know shyt.

They win simply by getting Harden off the team and adding the appropriate depth that they need to surround KD and Kyrie with to bring about a balance (that they shouldn’t have gotten rid of in the first place). It’s not even about them winning this game, it’s about the belief they had in themselves to keep fighting as a collective (which Drummond and Seth were integral parts of). That didn’t happen when Harden was in the frame. They win because they don’t have him dragging the team down into a pit of lethargy and offensive monotony anymore.

They were on life support, and if they didn’t trade him when they did, he would’ve eventually sucked the dwindling life they had left until they were a rotting corpse. Regardless, if they win a championship or not, they’re in a better place now.

How do you know who won a trade when the main players haven't played even 1 game

Why do people who aren't fans of either team even care ??

if you are a fan of basketball in general you care this was a major trade. You don’t need to be a fan of a specific team to watch them or even care about their situation. If you are just a fan in general you care.

I can’t have an opinion on a team who I don’t support? Who the fukk is you nxgga? Who should give a fukk about what you believe other folks should talk about? You’ve never once posted about teams/players you haven’t been a fan of?

There doesn’t have to be a loser in a trade, just like there doesn’t have to be a winner. Both parties can be one and the same - both winners or losers.

Harden might be the first superstar in the NBA where the team trading him has a better outlook than when they have him lol

It's happened twice now. After flaming out of 8 playoff runs Harden forced out of Houston, Morey dipped too. Rockets finally could tear it down, new front office, tank for a future star etc so they traded Harden and landed Green, Sengun and have some Nets picks

Nets trade Harden and get depth, defense, & rebounding they need to win now. Simmons is only 25 so he and Cam Thomas can run together for possibly another decade, so Nets get a franchise player for the future too. If we had still Harden, 2025 might've been spooky and almost Billy King like if we couldn't rebuild quick enough. But it would've been worth it since we hopefully we got a ring or two out of it. Those picks Houston gets have way less value now, Nets even got 2 of them back from trading James

Anybody that said the Nets lost this trade was out of their cotdamn minds. Y'all know who you are.
They gave us exactly what we wanted for a nikka whose hamstring has been injured since last season

- Shooter (Seth)
- Big Man (Drummond)
- Defensive Playmaker (Ben)

Can you imagine if Joe Harris comes back? If Ben somehow starts shooting? Man listen...

This is the Knicks fan way of looking at franchises breh, where the narrative around the future is always more important than the actual play and games. In reality, both teams Harden left went on double digit losing streaks and are currently not in the playoffs (Rockets last in the conference, 3rd worst team in the league) while both teams he was traded to were/are in the playoffs and he carried the Nets and their record after his arrival.

Meanwhile, Harden and Embiid look to be truly scary post-ASB while the Nets are popping bottles because they didn't get blown out by the Knicks and celebrating a rookie who is shooting below 28% from three for the season. :shaq2:
