Nets got a new candidate for worst NBA trade in history

Brooklyn’s 2022, 2024 and 2026 unprotected first-round picks, unprotected pick swaps with Brooklyn in 2021, 2023, 2025 and 2027 for 16 games of Harden, KD, and Kyrie

Easy to blame Harden for being a bytch ass but Kyrie was one too not getting vaccinated. KD deserves better.
KD wanted to hoop with his friend and Harden
KD wanted a rookie head coach with no experience
KD wanted the corpse of Deandre Jordan
so nah, he got exactly what he deserves

KD brought this shyt on himself. He coulda been in the bay chilling as the overwhelming favorite to win the title but he let the media narratives get to him :mjlol:
I feel really bad for him honestly lmao. Obviously this wasn't the best way to assemble a team but staying with GS was always going to leave an asterisk on his career.

Ben is absolutely an X-factor for the Nets.
Ben at the 4 dishing to Kyrie and KD
Ben defending the best perimeter guard on the opposing team etc etc

there is no one on the Nets to cannibalize his game like there was with Embiid
we are going to see a Ben Simmons we haven’t seen since he had Ilyasova/Covington/Reddikk
You see it.

Ben will be a game-changer for them. Yes, his inhibitions and limitations will still be there, but the value he provides for the Nets will be infinitely more than whatever Harden was giving them.
