It's something that definitely needed to be done. Not getting Thybulle certainly makes this trade not as good as it could've been for them, but regardless, they've actually got a team now. Once Simmons finds his feet, he's gonna provide more value for them than Harden ever did.

Absolutely, the notion that one of them got fleeced is nonsense.

Both sides can feel like they won and definitely have a chance at a title. Even if the reality is there's a strong chance they see eachother at some point in the playoffs and go home via a strong contribution from a player they gave away.

I Honestly don’t see how this trade even matters if you have a guy who is scared to fukking shoot and go to the free throw line. Pretty much Ben Simmons is only good for 3/4 you can’t play him in the fourth quarter in crunch time because the last time we saw him he fukking fold it. And with the expectations for the Nets to win a championship you will need your best players on the floor in the fourth quarter. This whole experiment was a complete joke man.

Ben has KD, Kyrie, Seth Curry, Patty Mills, Joe Harris, Cam etc all on the team that won't have any problem shooting the ball. The issue in Philly was that they needed his offense desperately to improve, in BK he literally can be utilized like Draymond Green.
