The first one was fine. The other one was mid. The jokes aren’t it for me and I don’t find Pratt compelling.

Gunn has an approach that has proven successful in both DC and Marvel film universes. He ain't being hired to write every script to every movie just like Kevin Feige doesn't do that.

Dc doesn’t have a house style and I doubt a director would want to force his style on others since he understands their position.

Nah, the problem with Love and Thunder is that it was the good old fashioned Contractually Obligated Film.

For what's going on in the MCU, Thor's gotta be gone for a while before showing up later, but they likely needed to have a movie on production to be able to still have Hemsworth under a deal. Other than that, Taika Waititi was doing promo looking like he was voluntold to make that shyt.

One of the drawbacks of announcing movies so far in advance sometimes.

I'll judge DC's success on how many characters they can move up to A-List household names.

Who's ready to breakout? Who can they get over the hump? That's what I'm waiting to see.

Aquaman. Black Adam and Shazam have been moved up the ranks of popularity cause of movies. Peacemaker had a breakout hit series.
Hawkman, Jon Stewart GL, Martian Manhunter imo have the most potential to be picked up for solo movies in the near future as far as being relatively unknown characters outside of the DC fandom.

A Nightwing/Red Hood movie woukd be slick asf too
