IW & BP just did over 3.5 with a little help from Antman. I'm actually against faux internet outrage but if this is a bad look. If my job found out I was on this site and let me go I'd have to take it on the chin lol...not sure how Gunn is above this.

I'm not saying he is above it. I'm saying he's a key cog and until they find a way going forward, they're going to continue to try to get him back into the fold. And there's a spin they can use to make it pretty simple. Not saying they should do it but I get why they are.

That really ain't a bad idea. Rocket and Groot had some pretty good chemistry with Thor. Plus he trending upwards as of late. Ragnarok over performed and he came through beasting in IW. Probably deserves a 4th movie after what he did to the Justice League.

Deadline pointed out that Taki prob wouldn’t do it because most directors wouldn’t. It would put them in a tight spot. You’d need someone with no connection to James whatsoever to do it. Someone who wouldn’t feel completely awkward about it

I mean if they all show solidarity so be it but if Disney 100% refuses to take Gunn back then it's on him to tell his people to get their money without him. It would be the stand up thing to do.

That might be a moot point though because it seems like they're at least entertaining the idea of bringing him back.

Oh I’m sure he’d give whoever does it his blessing and if it’s a colleague they wouldn’t do it without running it by him first but it’s never as easy as it seems when you have a relationship with that person.
