Just allow in a stream of people from neighboring countries and Sub-Saharan Africa for the next 5 to 10 years. :dahell:
In the meantime, try to find and implement incentives and regulations to get the birthrate above 2 persons per female.

Some countries trying to get rid of people and others need people. Jamaica is poor and has a declining birthrate. Since Jamaica isn't going to benefit much from "brain drain", just focus on getting some people in.

They basically having two kids which is still replacement rate, this isn’t alarming
Slightly less than 2, and that's before emigration and crime. So the replacement rate is much less than 2. That is alarming.

Am I off or isn’t birth rates declining around the entire world? This isn’t a problem specific to jamaica.
The world was just less than 7 billion people a few years ago, now it's over 8 billion. So the global population is increasing and people expect it to peak at 15B and then maybe flatline at 10B or so.

Some populations are growing, some have stagnated, and some are declining. But overall the world is growing albeit it's fewer births per capita.

That’s good especially if u already living in poverty or struggling to make it on your own

Also a lot of running to florida, ny, London, Toronto for a better life
Developing country and a declining population? That's an economic implosion waiting to happen. How is that a good thing?

You need a stable and growing population to keep the economy stable and growing too. The US, UK and Western Europe makes up for it with immigration. Eastern Europe about to crash in a few years or decades.

That's before emigration, homicide, natural disasters and institutionalization. That's much less than 2 new people for every 2 people lost. :heh: :dahell:
Breh, we don’t take all that into account anywhere else when talking fertility rate. The point is you have a kid to replace every egg and sperm carrier who created you

Replacement level fertility is the level of fertility at which a population exactly replaces itself from one generation to the next. In developed countries, replacement level fertility can be taken as requiring an average of 2.1 children per woman.

That's because First World countries don't have all those problems large enough to affect their stats.
Jamaicans emigrating abroad alone makes that 1.9 rate inflated and meaningless. It's not replacement numbers.
