Second of all I am an African American. I have taken DNA tests and I have no Caribbean Island in any of my communities and that would be the same probably for 90%+ of all African Americans because the majority of African Americans came directly to the USA from West and Central Africa between 1720 through 1780 and have never left. Some African Americans came in the 1500s and 1600s, but the majority arrived in the 1700s. So they were not swapping people like you think to be carrying out some kind of repurposing and on top of that England controlled Jamaica. England DID NOT control the USA. So they were not the same governments and did not have shared laws.
