That’s something that goes both ways sometimes. I run a Black business and sometimes it feels like our own people are tryna do us a favor and go out of their way to ask for discounts or price matching with Amazon. Or they’ll come in there and tell you to your face they gon just go get it on Amazon. shyt is annoying as hell and makes you question what the point of it is. Especially when later on you’ll hear about a lack of Black owned businesses or spaces that cater to our people.

It’s almost to the point of disrespect where you’re made to feel like a charity. Knowing damn well they ain’t asking for none of this at a white owned business. But certainly if you have a business like this one where the owner is racially ignorant that needs to be a que for ALL Black people to freeze her business out not just Black Americans. As the poster above me said, you’ll get bad experiences across demographics so her singling out as she did points more to her ignorance and typically businesses fail under ignorant leadership.

People are absolutely walking into spots like Best Buy and telling associates straight up to their face that they will go buy things on Amazon. That’s not unique to having a black owned business. People just want the cheapest thing they can get. If the product you selling is also listed on Amazon then that’s the price they want.
