I never looked at it like that. I guess OP has a point. But it just works out that way. You get your cleaver and just chop it up.

Was eating a jerk chicken plate, driving to to Atlantic City and had a shard of bone stuck in my gums for the whole weekend:mjcry:

Had some similar shyt happen to me only that shyt got lodged in my throat. Needless to say it ended up with my ass in the E.R. with an x-ray smh:francis:
I was pissed for a minute but wasn't gonna let that stop me :russ: it's the top authentic place in my area.

My pops had gave me the :ufdup: when I let that happen to some curry.
They must need a cleaver or cut the chicken at too weak of a point.

Probably the thigh.


The bone splinters because the cleaver isn’t sharp enough, chicken bones are quite hollow unlike cow bones which are way more solid and has a pattern of bone running through the main circular exterior. It’s not even the fault of the shop, it’s really the butcher that’s at fault.

If your are going to joint a chicken yourself I would suggest your sharpen your cleaver and ensure your cleaver has a heavy handle. If you are unable to sharpen your cleaver, cut at the joint sections only where the chicken parts bends naturally. The softer cartilage allows for a knife that is not as sharp to cut through much easier.

I have no problem with the chicken chopped up. It's normal for jerk chicken, stew chicken, curry chicken..

You know what would be easier, just genetically modifying them so they have no bones, fish, head, scales or fins. Just random fillets floating around the ocean since it’s not supposed to have bones.


P.S filleting a fish takes a lot of work, fillet your own fukking fish!
