This is racism and criminalization. Jamaica is the most self hating country I have ever been too, so to ban the culture and art of its OWN people is not a surprise.
The other policies in jamaica are the cause of the guns, drugs, and death. Not the music.
Banning shoot em up and pop molly music is racism? lmfao

I say allowing music and videos like this to be broadcasted to black youths with no restrictions is a form of racism.

Jamaica at one point had one of the lowest murder rates in the world.

When was that and what do you think changed in the interim to make it the place it currently is?

Hard to say what glorifying is.

Is Scarface a movie that glorifies violence when everyone got murked out?

Those Drill type of make fun of enemies death can obviously get left in the bushes but there’s music just telling the real story without any glorification

Fire.

Will it completely eradicate the violence and drug use? Of course not…but how can it ever hurt to remove something with so much influence over the youth that’s promoting violence and using drugs? It can only help.

Crazy how you have to forcefully remove and ban this type of shyt from humans to get them away from it, lol…muhfukkas love negativity boy. Imagine if their were no age restrictions on alcohol and cigs and shyt, 😆, high schools around the country would be full of drunk smokers

Banning black art from reaching black people is racist yes.
Thinking that your black children need to be kept away from black culture to be successful is racism. c00n shyt.
The stuff in the music is the reality of the world.
Its fake deep.

A lot of the posters here would cheer this on until they realized that this wouldn't just stop with Drill music. It says music that glorifies drugs and violence, and given what the U.S. government classifies as glorifying drugs and violence, it would pretty much be a ban on most Hip Hop.
