I disagree. All this proves is that a trained boxer will beat a wrestler in a boxing match.
If it was a wrestling match and the wrestler won against the boxer, that wouldn't prove that wrestling is a superior form of self defense.
I think it proves that even an amatuer boxer can beat an mma fighter in a boxing match.
Doesn't MMA include stand up fighting? This dude was wrestler, but he should've still had more striking training than the youtuber over his career.
MMA fighters list all these martial arts they mastered all the time and some of them should be similar enough to allow them to be competent in a boxing match. look at muay thai stances vs boxing ones for example
if you study kickboxing for 20 years you can't regular box at least as good as a dude who has only been boxing for a few years? Makes me wonder why they even study any other techniques, should just master boxing and wrestling and you would be ready vs anyone. No need for any type of kick training
