To be clear, those metrics aren't perfect and they aren't the definitive way to rate players. But he wasn't even close to being in the running.

For frame of reference, the difference between Jokic's vorp (9.8) and Embiid's (6.5) is the same as the difference between Devin Booker (3.6) and Reggie Bullock (0.3)
