Ja really tried arguing that Devin Booker was the MVP.
Devin Booker ranked 39th in offensive win shares, and 16th in value over replacement.
To be clear, those metrics aren't perfect and they aren't the definitive way to rate players. But he wasn't even close to being in the running.
For frame of reference, the difference between Jokic's vorp (9.8) and Embiid's (6.5) is the same as the difference between Devin Booker (3.6) and Reggie Bullock (0.3)
You were the main one claiming that postseason success/failure shouldn't determine MVP awards, so what happened was irrelevant- Luka beat Booker and the "best team in the league" Suns
- Luka can't even take one win off the Warriors.
Yet Ja out here thinking Booker deserved MVP over Jokic.
@DillaTUDE
I guess you just completely forgot about telling me to bump this thread after the 1st round. Funny that.You were the main one claiming that postseason success/failure shouldn't determine MVP awards, so what happened was irrelevant
