Ja Morant takes a shot at the media’s apparent MVP-bias for Jokic (“it’s obvious [who] they want”)

im not saying it in a negative way but its an analytic league and jokic is the best when it comes to the lytics. that and hes been on the floor for more wins than giannis or joel. his on/off rating also better than any other candidate. theyre all having mvp caliber seasons but jokic appears to have the best case.

Its still Embiid nikka like it been most the season

Jokic bench and Bones turnin into Steph saved him from an L he deserved when Joel outplayed him bad in that critical matchup.
And Giannis outplayed Embiid in their “critical matchup” (and the Bucks actually won), so what exactly is it you’re saying here?

Embiid is right in the conversation, but using one game that his team lost as the definitive swing (for the record, he marginally outplayed Jokic, it certainly wasn’t to the degree you’re insinuating), when he also lost to another MVP candidate just recently is nonsense and you know it. That’s the same logic that would be applied to Finals MVP, and we know cotdamn well 99% of the time the loser never gets that award.

Not reading the thread, but as a Nuggets fan who's been in multiple spaces where Richard Jefferson guest starred in one time complaining about the lack of coverage my team got, the premise of this thread is fukking hilarious

Jokic is stomping out the Grizzlies; the same Grizzlies who've been running a train on the entire league without Ja. But I guess, none of that matters, right? There's a grand conspiracy to award him MVP.

Philly bouls, Trust the Process
confused by this bump
on one hand, Grizz lost a game they should've won so this could be anti-Ja :jbhmm:
On the other hand, looks like Nuggets are currently down 20 in the 4th :jbhmm:

Sound sound sound
Jokic plays with a bunch of 6th men in his starting line up and bench that are all meant to play like 18 minutes a game :wow:

truly the mvp this year for getting the team this far

hearing the announcers yesterday talking about bones hyland having to take charge and keep the team in the game had me dying :mjlol:

good point

Kobe didn't get mvp for dragging that sorry ass Laker team to the 7th seed in 06 with his historic scoring at the time. they gave that shyt to Nash

can't start changing the narrative now

im seeing alot of this in here, but its just a revisionist agenda.

who were all these teams that the lakers finished ahead of, that were so much more talented that year?

7th place is about right. they arguably shouldve finished a lil higher.
