Ja literally threatened a fan on social media last year with hollow points, so it’s not heresay. Those other situations aren’t heresay either as police reports were created.
Those aren't incontrovertible proof. Police reports are he said, she said, and tweets can be open to interpretation. A video of said actions is.

That's why the others were ignored and this one warranted a suspension.

That’s a bullshyt excuse and even you know that. That type of rhetoric and excuse making is exactly why Ja got away with as much as he did previously.

That’s also proving my point as well because going by your logic those situations shouldn’t be accounted for when determining this current suspension number.

It's not bullshyt. That's why I said it.

Silver has been with the NBA since 1992. He knows exactly how players, media, advertisers, and fans see and interact with the NBA.

Sorry breh, I'm not zero-tolerance disciplinarian. If I'm the commissioner, I'll give you enough rope give your individuality. You're a man in your early 20's with 7 digits in the bank. It's expected that you'll do something untoward. But if you fukk up publicly, I'll punish you. Do it again, the next one will be far more severe.

It won't surprise me if Ja gets 40 games non-paid next year.

It’s a league chalked full of those guys, yet the majority of them out here don’t have the repeated behavior or are out here doing the dumb shyt that Ja is out here doing.

Once again you’re excusing Ja’s previous patterns of behavior.

Yes, and they aren't being punished. That's exactly how it should be. :heh:

There are no excuses. I'm telling you the thought process behind how and why I would punish a player and why I don't find anything wrong with the NBA's punishment policy.

Those things you mentioned don't warrant escalation to the commissioner's office in my opinion.

Funny you say that considering that’s exactly what happened when Ja and his crew were accused of point a laser at Pacer’s employees and rightfully so.

The only reason the league even covered him for then was because that would have gotten the police involved and launched an investigation.

I don't remember the specifics of that incident. Did Silver speak on it publicly?

I get that. You didn't answer the question though.
Silver doesn’t typically answer questions publicly like that unless it’s for a certain occasion. Otherwise the league puts out a statement.

Silver was doing an interview for the draft lottery when he was asked about Ja. That interview wasn’t for Ja.
