From his work on Slum Village's albums to Tribe's "Beats Rhymes and Life" album to his Donuts instrumental album and everyone else he produced in between those releases (Busta Rhymes, De La Soul, Common, The Pharcyde, Badu etc), the man was a truly talented producer.
The one thing that I really admire about him is how he influenced so many of the well known producers such as Pharrell Williams, Kanye West and Questlove. It's like although Dilla never gained cross over or Pop appeal for his own contributions, his work was not overlooked in some aspect because so many famous producers were inspired by his work.
