As for this album, Iv played the shyt out of it already, my only main complaint is there honestly isn’t enough of it, I’m not saying it needs more songs or to be MUCH longer or anything crazy, just that Amari, 100 mil and Let Go My Hand need just a 2nd verse each

Cole is too safe and regular for Pitchfork. It's either thot rap, or some Earl Sweatshirt lofi basura that gets high scores from them.

With every review, they're trying to sell you on their identity being a pretentious, edgy voice to an elitist audience with barely a cursory understanding of hip-hop. Artists like J Cole are usually target practice for them, but they actually gave him a surprisingly not-low score cause this album is dope
