That word mistake gets thrown around. It wasn’t a ‘mistake’. He just didn’t like the outcome and tepid response knew which everyone forgets.
To the contrary according to him. It was the visceral reactions that made him realize he was trippin
Mans sat down and made a 5 minute song and had weeks to think it thru. All this after kendrick barely gave him a love tap.
Yeah. And at some point he realized his behavior was faulty and he made steps to correct it.

There’s no rules with this battle shyt ….. where y’all getting these rules from ?
This thread is literally about “rules” to hiphop.

I’m speaking as a man.

You don’t let peer pressure get you out of your hookup period.

If cole really had a problem with kenny and wanted to see his career take a hit then the song was the right move and a “beef with kendrick was warranted.

If he didn’t/doesn’t feel that way then the track was a mistake and he should have apologized and moved on.

did anyone really care what he had to say, though :patrice:
To say nobody cared is a bit O-D. But I agree in the sense that Kendrick vs Drake was always the main event, regardless of what Cole said (or didn't say). The culture was always anticipating Aubrey's response more anyway.

“the best rapper” =/= Who can say the most salacious twitter rumor to a hot DJ mustard beat.

Did we really learn who’s “the best rapper” between KenDrake??
