I got the Waves bundle too. I primarily use them on Vocals. I'm going to go through my mix again and try some of the presets on my instruments.

Maserati DRM setting Nathans Snare is my go to also, check out API "Layne Mastering Glue" in your master mix. Its piff. Turn off all of your channel plug ins just to see how it immediately makes a track pop. API 550 "Oldies" puts some nice heat on a track too.

I made this record and I wanted to drop it here and get some feedback. It's R&B. The type of R&B I like. Not this modern stuff we here today. Ya'll be honest with me :sadcam:

Some sections needed a few more takes or engineering vocal tuning.

Sounds very professional in most parts with some minor but glaring vocal tone mistakes in others.

With a better beat and or vocal arrangement there's a lot of potential to make a classic album.

With some vocal corrections alot of potential for a standard album cut.

A quality obsessed producer is needed in the studio to say no. Do that over, and over and over and over. Every off key harmony must be eradicated from the final mix.

One last thing OP and this isn't a critique. This might be a good investment for you. Buy it or steal it if you have to. This is the newer model but the older model is just as good.

I can't find the Layne Mastering Glue. What is it under?

I think that there is too much of the song that requires you to sing high, that might be out of your range. The lower parts sound consistently great, while the higher parts need tightening up.

I have a lot of gear and I don’t like to drop a lot of money on gear unless I have too. Check out zzounds. They offer payment plans with no credit check and outside of a $15.00 processing fee, you’re not paying any more that what you would normally pay.
