It’s basically hit me hard how pointless life is. It just seems to me like I’ve got another 50plus years to go and it’s just all pointless. Everyday is the same. Wake up, job, same role, same faces, same conversation. Even if go travelling somewhere, I’ll still have to come back.

It’s not the job, I actually like the job but I keep asking is this really it? Is this what life is all about? :francis:

It's called a quarter life crisis.

Honestly, you just don't make enough money.

Because if you did, you would be in different circles, doing different things.

If you don't have one already, invest in a nice tailored suit, around $1500 at least. Wear it around town, pay attention and partake in INTROSPECTION.

It might give you the spark you are looking for.

Welcome to misery OP. I had my 1st "mid life existential crisis" at 27. It's a tough pill to swallow. Unfortunately, I made costly decisions in my 20s that have now burdened me to the point of no immediate liberation. But you beloved, you still have your time and your freedom.

If I were able, I would save up my money and travel to furthest reaches of the planet. Life is meaningless without experiences. Experiences shape your life and give it new meaning. New resolve. Purpose. That's why it's important to leave your cradle of safety and stability and venture outward to see the world and all it has to offer. It will change you.

Let my tale be one of caution to you. Never follow the advice of people whom are not in positions that you desire to be. Never allow your self to become stuck in the same city of your birth. Never make drastic, life altering decisions without thinking of your wants and needs first. Be selfish while you can for life will always come and humble you when you least expect it. Happiness is fleeting and most people who say they are genuinely happy, are often times lying to themselves. 😔
